Baby & You

  • (Expecting parents and parents with young non-mobile infants)
  • Expecting parents and parents with young infants get a chance to get together.
  • Discussion  topics such as: Pregnancy, nutrition, infant development and safety.
  • Activities may include crafts, rhymes and songs. Health for Two is available at this program. Limited Childcare available for older siblings
  • Drop-in


Managing Motherhood  

  • A support group for women experiencing signs and symptoms of Post Partum, Depression, and Anxiety. Meet other Moms who are experiencing the daily joys and challenges that having a Newborn brings. Limited Childcare

Parent Connect                                                                                                          

  • Would you like to connect with other parents? Join us for dinner and conversation. Our goal is to provide support and a place where parents can share their parenting journey with each   other. (A light meal and limited childcare provided)

Books for Babies for Dads In partnership with the Centre for Family Literacy

  • Come and discover how young babies can have a favorite book. Learn about what, when and why we read to babies. We encourage Dads to come play and learn with their infants.  Meet other Dads with young babies.

Baby Box Alberta

  • We, Jasper Place Child and Family Resource Centre/West Edmonton Parent Link are a distribution site for the FREE Alberta Baby Boxes. (For Alberta residents who are expecting a baby, or if your baby 3 months of age or younger)
  • What might be  Included ?
  • Decorative Box with mattress/mattress cover/fitted sheet (Complies with Health Canada’s Bassinet Standards
  • Small package of Pampers/Wipes
  • Coupons
  • Bag contents are varied with each shipment

Health for Two

  • Supports women while they are pregnant until their babies are two months old. Parenting support as needed:
  • Pregnancy information
  • Nutrition information (free milk coupons and prenatal vitamins)
  • Referrals to community services
  • Possible hospital tours
  • Bus tickets
  • Teens welcome
